I had been dreaming of a session like this for a long, long time – I scored a studio rental with Hey You Studio, and Katelyn & Nic volunteered to hang out with me and let me get up in their faces for this super fun, intimate Edmonton in-home session.

Edmonton In-Home Session

When it’s cold, rainy or otherwise miserable outside in Edmonton, an in-home session is really the perfect solution. An in-home session gives the ultimate cozy vibe, and there are so many personal touches that will become a part of your photos. And, there are a ton of super beautiful studios in Edmonton & area that we can visit; they are designed with homey, relaxed photos like these in mind!! There truly are so many location options for your engagement or lifestyle session.

We had so much fun playing in the studio, playing tag, having pillow fights (my personal favourite photos), cuddling up in the fluffy bed and getting real nice & cozy. Katelyn & Nic were so themselves, whispering inside jokes to each other and play fighting on the bed together. I really encourage my couples to try to forget I’m there to help them be themselves! I like to play music and take some breaks from directing and posing to let them settle into their natural dynamic they have together, and let them just “be”. It’s truly magical the images we can get when you’re interacting as you normally do!

My favourite part of this session might be the fact that these two got engaged just days afterward!!! Congratulations again guys, and I can’t thank you enough for being so open and intimate with me for this session! I’m already so so excited for our next one!
