I was visiting Playa del Carmen for an intimate destination wedding, and found out my friends Megan & Noah were visiting Mexico at the same time. After learning we were staying just down the beach from each other, we knew we had to run around town and explore, and do an adventure session together!

We met up for tacos and spicy margaritas at El Doctorcito Playa Del Carmen (the BEST taco place, I still dream about them). We chatted, caught up and marveled at how crazy it was that we were in the same place at the same time. After taking a few photos at the restaurant, we found a nearby beach which we had to ourselves! We ran around in the sand and embraced the barefoot tropical vibes to the max. It was so much fun to create in a totally different environment! We watched the sun set together, and then made our way back into town to find one more margarita, and some live music to end the night.

Adventure Sessions

This session embodied everything an adventure session is; exploring a new place with your person, soaking it in, experiencing it and making memories, with a third wheel to document it all. Now, these two will have incredible reminders and personalized artwork of their Mexico adventure from this session. When the day to day of life gets overwhelming, having photos like these to look back on bring back such a light and nostalgia.
