Today, I’m taking you back to this warm, sunny, playful Vermilion couples’ session from July! This evening was all that makes summer so amazing – late sunsets, warm nights, golden sunshine, and good times with friends.

We headed out to hang out with Austin’s cows, and explored a few fields while we chased the light and played in the beautiful July sun. Their adorable Lab pup Chevy, or Chev-man, was our entertainment – scroll to the last photo of him to see his personality totally summed up!

Breanne & Austin are high school sweethearts who have become some of our best friends over the last few years! Chevy and our lab, Bones, were forced to become friends too and they love their playdates as much as we do. Looking back at this Vermilion couples session has me missing summertime so much, and all the fires, camping, hiking and lake days we spend with our friends like these guys.

This amazing couple isn’t engaged, they aren’t married, but they reached out and wanted photos done anyway, because what they have together is SO worth documenting! Clayton and I did the same a while back with my friend and incredible photographer Megan Good, who you can check out here! We wanted to celebrate the life we’ve made together, without any specific reason other than the love we share.

You don’t have to be engaged to have photos done; you don’t need to be getting married, expecting a baby or have your 10th anniversary.
